Cleaning/Organizing

well guys, i have done some cleaning in my room.  i transferred my comic books into a new box and placed said box into my closet.  some would say this closet has no end to the amount of storage.

 

i have been playing more of D&D 4th edition and i still do not like it.  its like there telling me this is what you do and NOTHING else, if it isn’t in the power list you can’t do it

 

i have been listening to a lot of my netcasts and what not

 

i write this just to write it not that i had anything to say worth while, i am going to bed and will be writting more later this week

Random Boredom

i really have not got a lot to talk about today other than i am currently at my grandfathers birthday party.  yeah before you say anything about it, everyone is playing poker and other card games which is far from my thing.  i have never liked card games unless it is solitar

i really should try to talk to some of the other people here but i hate talking to new people……any way they all are old, that makes since, it is my grandfathers birthday party so go figure lol

this week has been one hell of a week for my tv shows that i watch. Smallville, Supernatural, Prison Break, Lost, Ghost Whisperer, Bones, House.  all of those have ether hit there series finally or season finally and i have to say this is the fist time i have been this excited for the next season to start, damn dirty summer time. burn hell as i piss on your grave

i haven’t seen to many movies lately, at least none that where new, i am really looking forward to the next Transformer movie not so much the Star Trek movie

as for right now i am bored off my ass, i can not get to the internet and i have cleared off my computer with all my stuff, movies videos movies and what not

Tomorrow Is Game Day

i am dreading tomorrows game, only because i am not a fan of D&D 4th edition.

i would stop playing but i have been playing with these guys for almost 10 years

i guess another thing is that i would love to finish a campaign that we start

not that any of this matters to anyone but me  

Dogs For Sale

A farmer had some puppies he needed to sell. 
He painted a sign advertising the 4 pups and 
set about nailing it to a post on the edge of 
his yard. As he was driving the last nail into the  post,
he felt a tug on his overalls.. He looked down into the eyes
of a little boy.
"Mister," he said, "I want to buy one of
your 
puppies."
"Well," said the farmer, as he rubbed the sweat
off the back of his neck, "These pupp ies come from
fine parents and cost a good deal of money."
The boy dropped his head for a moment. Then reaching deep
into his pocket, he pulled out a handful of change and held
it up to the farmer.
"I’ve got thirty-nine cents. Is that enough to
take a look?"
"Sure," said the farmer. And with that he let out
a whistle. "Here, Dolly!" he called.
Out from the doghouse and down the ramp ran  Dolly
followed by four little balls of fur.
The little boy pressed his face against the chain link
fence. His eyes danced with delight. As the dogs made their
way to the fence,the little boy noticed something else
stirring inside the doghouse.
Slowly another little ball appeared, this one noticeably
smaller. Down the ramp it slid. Then in a somewhat awkward
manner, the little pup began hobbling toward
the others, doing its best to catch up…
"I want that one," the little boy said, pointing
to the runt. The farmer knelt down at the boy’s side and
said,"Son, you don’t want that puppy. He will never
be able to run and play with you like these other dogs
would."
With that the little boy stepped back from the fence,
reached down, and began rolling up one leg of his 
trousers.
In doing so he revealed a steel brace running down both
sides of his leg attaching itself to a specially made 
shoe.
Looking back up at the farmer, he said, "You see sir,
I don’t run too well myself, and he will need someone
who understands."
With tears in his eyes, the farmer reached down and picked
up the little pup.
 
Holding it carefully he handed it to the little
boy."How much?" asked the little boy. "No
charge," answered the farmer, "There’s no
charge for love."
The world is full of people who need someone who
understands.

Been Sick, And I Hate It

holy heck, i have been sick….i have been hacking up a lung, sneezing my head off and just feeling like crap

i thought i was getting better, in fact this past Sunday i felt fine then i went back down hill, good thing is i am starting to feel better

my mom was the first one to get it then my brother and lastly me

normally i would get NyQuell and DyQuell but i have no money to do that so i am screwed

so anyone else sick, let me know how you guys are doing

Game Rant

well just got back from my game and it was boring as all hell, 6 hours sitting there with my thumb up my fucking ass…….

i play a fighter type….you know the type of guy that hits things, that’s how i play him any way….i have tried OVER and OVER again to try to talk my way out of a fight, or talk to the leader of “Whatever” town, but the rest of the group doesn’t want that to happen because the way i do it. it gets to the point of the matter…..mmmm basically i get to the point and skip the details figuring that we will get the details on the way, you know speed up the story line of the game so that everyone can have fun

but NOOOOOOO we got to discuss everything a million times, on things as simple as how to open a fucking door, when all this plotting and planning ends up with the same results as my plan but takes hours rather than minutes

i swear i do not see why i even go any more

Random Update

not to much to report on today’s entry so its going to be short

before i forget to put this up i would like to now, its over a year old now but it is still accurate, for the most part

i have installed Windows 7 on a smaller partition and i have to say i like it, its not as good as vista i found by i using it, but i am sure it will be worth the update, i am looking forward to getting it when it comes out at the end of the year or the begining of 2010, see i am running Vista now and i have lover every second of it, there is no way in hell i will ever go back to XP

i am looking forward to going to my game tomorrow, yeah D&D player here, DON”T JUDGE ME!!! right now we are still playing 3.5 but we are going to be going on to 4th edition which i am not looking forward to.  3.5 is a fine edition and doesn’t need to be improved on, but the other guys are ALL about WoW World of Warcraft, i tell you i hate the whole concept of that game……let me go to the store spend 50 bucks for the game take it home then spend 20 or more bucks a month to play a game i just bought, lets not forget you can only play it when it is popular, when it isn’t your screwed, i like the single player console game because guess what, i buy the game and i can play it as much as i want for as long as i want, as long as i got the hard ware to play it i can continue to play it 20 plus years form now….speaking of which i am going to go play some Marvel Ultimate Alliance

My Birthday 2009

well i guess i will first start out by saying telling you guys something funny

i noticed on the site i hang out at that it was saying i was 28, for some odd reason this wasn’t making since to me, so i spent 3 hours looking how to fix it….but i couldn’t find out how to change my age, other than the year i was born…so i thought that it was adding things wrong, then it clicked in my brain it is 2009 i “AM” 28

as far as how things went, pretty good. my mom makes me a cake every year and this year i wanted a peanut Butter cake with Reese’s peanut butter with chocolate icing with M&M’s on top of that…it was EPIC

my grandparents got me a card plus 10 bucks, i am planning on getting a 2.0 usb hub because i am out of usb ports

my parents got me a card and a 2gb stick of memory for my computer which is going to help out a lot, my mom is also getting a few rolls of my film developed and i got a lot of them to get done that are years old

my brother even  got me a card and my Aunt sent me a card…i love getting cards here

I knew in an instant there would be no gifts this year,
For Santa Claus had made one thing quite clear,
The gift of a dog is not just for the season,
We had gotten the pup for all the wrong reasons.
In our haste to think of the kids a gift
There was one important thing that we missed.
A dog should be family, and cared for the same
You don’t give a gift, then put it on a chain.
And I heard him exclaim as he rode out of sight,
“You weren’t giving a gift! You were giving a life!”

Good Ol’ TV

So…i never know how to start these things so how about i just get right into it

here i am listening to an old episode TWiT which is This Week In Tech in this Episode it has Leo Laporte, Patrick Nortion, Kevin Rose just chatting about this and that about tech,

if you do not know these guys used to be apart of the once great  TechTV.

the whole reason i have started going back and listening to the old ones are because i read on Sarah Lanes blog that she is considering working for the TWiT network which is awesome everyone that watched the old Techtv loved it and hated what they did when they merged with crappy G4….so it was me going back on memory lane

any who i am going to get off this thing and go take a shower so that i can be all nice and relaxed for bed
